Sermon notes missing for 10-24-2010

Dear family and friends:

I sent no sermon notes out this week; my wife and I lost a very precious friend Sister Linda Conklin. She passed away about 1:30am Tuesday morning. My wife and I spent much time at the hospital in the last several days.

-

Linda was ready to go home to the Lord. In the last few weeks Sister Linda shared with me “I still believe the report of the Lord”. Even as lay on her death bed she was encouraging others. Telling family and friends how much God loved them. At one point I heard her tell her daughter “Never, never give up!" On Sunday afternoon before she lost consciousness she lead us in a song service right there in the hospital room. One of the songs she chose was “Rejoice in the Lord Always”. At a couple of points she declared she could see angels in the room with us; The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him.

-

Linda was a prayer warrior who always had soul winning on her mind. The few words I offer here could never do justice to how God used her to touch the lives of many. She is indeed a pillar of righteousness planted by the Lord. There are no wasted prayers as Revelation teaches us God stores up the prayers of the righteous; there are prayers Linda has sent up to the throne room yet be pour out upon the alter of God.

-

Please pray for Linda Conklin’s family as the grieve their loss.

-

God bless,

Bruce

“God’s Will Concerning You”

God's will concerning you; God longs for you to posesss your vessel in sanctification and honor!

“God’s Will Concerning You”

-

1 Thessalonians 4:3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, 5 not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; 6 that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. 7 For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. 8 Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.

-

When I hear “This is the will of God” my attention is peaked. I have heard so many say I just don’t know the will of God for my life. The scripture is replete with the will of God for the believer. What is it God desires for us? Can His desire for our lives be trusted? Does God’s desire for our lives bring fulfillment?

-

Learning to possess your vessel in sanctification is God’s desire for your life. In our society many have no concept of what sanctification is. In God’s economy if He has sanctified something or someone it has been set apart as special and belonging to God. God wants you to have the knowledge to possess your own vessel in sanctification and honor. Abstaining from sexual immorality and not living in the passion of lust should be the lifestyle of every Christian. The will of God is your sanctification; this is what God has given to the believer. To reject this truth is very dangerous ground.

-

God indeed has not called us to uncleanness but in holiness!

-

Ephesians 4:24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

-

One who has been born again was birthed with righteousness and holiness in their very nature.

-

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

-

The will of God for every believer is to learn to walk in that newly created being. If you are a believer you have a new nature which has been enable by the power of Christ in you. Your victory over sin is not a stronger will power of your own. It is learning to trust in the finished work of the cross in your life.

-

Romans 6:9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. 10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. 11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

-

There is the foundation of grace. Jesus has brought us into the covenant of grace; Jesus indeed has faced the punishment of our sin. Jesus is the Lamb of God that has taken away the sin of the world. Many have misinterpreted freedom from sin as freedom to sin. Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound, God forbid. How shall we who have died to sin live any longer there in!

-

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity." 20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. 22 Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

-

If you name the name of Christ, God calls you to depart from iniquity! Believer’s themselves determine what kind of vessel they will be in the kingdom. Shall you be a vessel for honor or a vessel for dishonor? The measurement is defined by your pursuit. Your pursuit determines the type of vessel you are and will be for the kingdom of God .

-

2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.

-

We are the earthen vessels that God desires to work through? The power is of God working through us.

-

Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

-

What an awesome God, He has chosen to allow His power to work in us! To be a vessel of honor causes us to be useful for the Master. To possess our vessels in sanctification means we can affect and effect others around us. Our lives can be used to the glory of God and we can help other participate in the abundant life Jesus provides us.

-

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

-

God has prepared you for good works to walk in; it is those who have learned to possess their vessel in sanctification that will fulfill the destiny and purpose of God’s will for their life.

Sign Post of Authentic Believers

The Scritures have declared that even satan believes and trembles; however genuine believing, as God has called us to, is faith in Jesus Christ and the work He accomplished at the cross. Satan believes by knowing the facts that Jesus is Lord. Believers believe by surrendering to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Authentic believers have lived the signpost set in God's Word.

Sign Post of Authentic Believers

-

Genuine faith in Christ Jesus and the work He accomplished at Calvary is the only way to salvation. Jesus came to save His people from their sin!

-

Matthew 1:21 "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins."

-

John 8:34 Jesus answered them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 "And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

-

Whoever commits sin is a slave of sin; however if the Son makes you free you are free indeed! This is not an elusive promise of God! Slaves do not abide in the house forever but a son abides forever! This freedom from sin is to the true believer. Do we dare believe that Jesus makes us free from the bondages of sin? Some believers have never experienced this total freedom. Some who call their self believers have never had an authentic conversion. One of satan’s greatest ploys is to convince a sinner he has become a saint. It is proper to examine oneself and see if you are truly in the faith. The measuring stick is found by the Word of God. The Word has clearly defined those who have an authentic salvation experience.

-

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 "For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 "But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."

-

Genuine faith in Jesus Christ eliminates the condemnation; those who do not truly believe in Jesus are condemned already. What you believe about Jesus Christ determines your destiny. Jesus Himself brought great clarity to authenticity of faith. Everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light. He who comes to the light has shown his deeds that have been done in God. Men who glory in their own works, done in their own strength, remain in darkness. Those whom the Son has sets free, their deeds are clearly seen as they have been done in God. Genuine faith in Jesus brings great change to the man who believes in the completed work of Christ in His death burial and resurrection. He who believes in Jesus is not condemned; he who does not believe is condemned already. True authentic believing brings such transformation the believer comes to the light. If you claim to believe in Christ and continue in darkness your faith is not authentic.

-

Romans 6:6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. 7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.

-

True believers have died to self. The old man being crucified with Christ was in order that the body of sin might be done away with. One who is saved has died to the sin nature that he was born with! That which was inherited from the first Adam is put to death. That is why verse 7 declares he who has died has been freed from sin! There is not uncertainness in this truth. If you have been born again you past the sign post and died to self rule and surrendered to Jesus authority of setting you free.

-

Romans 6:11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. 12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.

-

Many believers have never been taught to reckon themselves dead to sin and alive unto God! Many believers have walked in sin because they allowed sin to reign in obeying its lust. It's time for the believer to be settled in the word of grace. As Christ died to sin once and for all but the life He lives is unto God, likewise the believer dies once and lives his life unto God.

-

Romans 6:8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. 10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.

-

1 John 2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world; the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life; is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

-

True believers will love what God loves and hate what God hates. It is the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life which are all centered in self will. It is sin itself that we need to hate. John, the beloved, pulled no punches, he who does the will of God abides forever! Some who call themselves believers and are in full pursuit of the things of the world will not abide forever! The sign post of the Word of God says if you are truly in the faith your life pursuit is doing the will of the Father.

-

2 Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

-

If the love of God has truly touched our lives it puts us on a journey of living for Jesus. Authentic believers spend the remaining of their lifetime living no longer for self but for the one who died for them and rose again.

-

Romans 12:9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. 10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;

-

Love with out hypocrisy is to abhor what is evil! That is stronger than hate. Let the evil be detestable to you and cling to what is good! God help us hate evil the way God does. Genuine believers are moved to abhor the evil; pseudo believers have no problems putting evil before their eyes.

-

1 Peter 2:1 Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, 2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, 3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

-

Authentic believers crave the pure milk of the word; those who have tasted that the Lord is gracious have a hunger and desire for God’s word.

-

1 Peter 4:1 Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, 2 that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

-

Galatians 4:6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!" 7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

-

True children walk in the freedom Christ has provided; true children can cry out Abba Father!

Strengthened In Our Inner Man

"Strengthened in our inner man" God not only wants us to walk in love; God has given us the wherewithall to walk in the strength of His love. What a good God we serve

Strengthened In Our Inner Man

-

Eph 3:14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height; 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

-

The apostle Paul had a way of praying for the saints of God. When you see Paul ’s prayers for the saints there is an unveiling of the will of God by hearing the anointed Spirit lead prayers of Paul . Paul here is praying for each believer to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man. The inner man is the newly created being God made you. If any man be in Christ he is a new creation; the old is gone and the new has come.

-

We are a triune being; we are made of spirit, soul, and body. The inner man is where you have been connected to God spirit to Spirit! What we need is a touch from God; a touch from the riches of His glory in our inner being. We need strengthened with His might in our inner being or our new man. When we have been touched to such a degree we are established in the love of God. God’s power will be at work in us above all that we ask or think. It is the Father’s will that you are rooted and grounded in love! A touch from God’s glory brings a greater revelation of His love!

-

May the saints know the love of Christ which passes knowledge! To comprehend the width and length and depth and height of the love of God is not an intellectual experience. It is the touch of God through His Spirit that fills you with all the fullness of God! When walking in the comprehension of the love of God fear is gone, the power of God is able to flow through us.

-

To God be the glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Many believers have struggled with burdens so heavy to carry. God never intended for you to bear that burden! We, the saints of God, need a greater revelation of God’s love.

-

1 John 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

-

The greater revelation of His love the greater we can love one another. The source of our love must always be from Jesus is the propitiation for our sins. The foundation of love is God and the way He shed His love abroad in our hearts is the source of our confidence.

-

1 John 4:15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 19 We love Him because He first loved us.

-

Your burden bearing should not involve fear and torment. God has called us to know and believe the love that God has for us! When we are strengthened in our inner man fear is cast out and we walk in confidence with the love of God.

-

If the fear is tormenting and the burden is to heavy it is time to receive the Word of deliverance. Take the thoughts and ideas that torment you and bring them into the obedience of Jesus Christ. Many believers want to cast out the devil but will not allow the Spirit of God to change their mind. God wants to change our mind set. Jesus said come! Your deliverance is not in a prayer line; your deliverance is in receiving the Word of God.

-

Matthew 11:28 "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

-

Many have passed over Jesus' words. Jesus said learn from me. If you come to Jesus Christ and refuse to learn from Him, in essence you have not truly come to Him. It is the goodness of God that leads to repentance; the apostle Paul started with a rebuke before he gave them the truth of God’s goodness leads to repentance. Because they heard and responded to the rebuke they found a clearing and justification.

-

Oh that the church will be strengthened in might through His Spirit in the inner man. The love of God does not allow the believer to walk with an angry spirit, a spirit of complaint, or a spirit of criticism. We have not walked in the rest of God or in the revelation of His love because we have allowed the small foxes to spoil the vine.

-

Philippians 2:14 Do all things without complaining and disputing, 15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16 holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

-

God is calling His children to come to walk in His love and His rest. We must hold fast to the truth and do all things without complaining and disputing. The enemy wants to bring the church to complaining and disputing! It is time to be aware of satan’s devices. Walk in the strength of the love of God by being strengthened in your inner man! Put off the old man put on the new man who is created in true righteousness and holiness. Hold fast the word of life!

-

Ephesians 4:22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. 25 Therefore, putting away lying, "Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another. 26 "Be angry, and do not sin": do not let the sun go down on your wrath, 27 nor give place to the devil.

-

The width and length and depth and height of the love of God is so great; your provision is found in the love of Jesus Christ.

-

Romans 8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Living by Every Word that Proceeds Out of God’s Mouth

In the last few months God has been continuing to speak to me about hearing His voice and living by the word that comes from His mouth. His way is right and brings abundant life to all who live by it!

Living by Every Word that Proceeds Out of God’s Mouth

9-27-2010

Matthew 4:2 And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. 3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, "If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread." 4 But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'"

-

Please consider what a radical change in our lives if we begin to awaken to every word that proceeds from God's mouth. Scripture over and over encourages us to hear His voice from Genesis to Revelation. Oh that we might rise up and begin to live by the word that proceeds from God’s mouth. It’s a prayer that has been stirred up in me, “God let me hear your voice and live by the words You have spoken”. Is a good man’s steps ordered of the Lord? Is there a foretelling of the will of God in our lives and are we willing to live by it?

-

Jeremiah 5:30 "An astonishing and horrible thing Has been committed in the land: 31 The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule by their own power; And My people love to have it so. But what will you do in the end?

-

Jeremiah lamented the astonishing and horrible thing that had been committed in the land! The prophets were speaking lies, the priests ruled by their own power outside the order of God; worst of all the people loved it being so. The people were not hearing the voice of God and rejoiced in the prophets and the priests walking outside of the purpose and plan of God.

-

Isaiah 59:20 "The Redeemer will come to Zion , And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob," Says the LORD. 21 "As for Me," says the LORD, "this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants' descendants," says the LORD, "from this time and forevermore." 60:1 Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.

-

Not only hearing God's voice, but to have His word put into our mouth and the mouth of our descendants. Here in Isaiah, God is making His will very clear. God wants to put His word in your mouth and your descendants' mouths from this time and forevermore! What a powerful word! This is word you can live by directly out of God’s mouth! Arise, shine; for your light is come! The Glory of the Lord is risen upon you! Who is the light save Jesus Christ? Oh God put your word in our sons' and daughters' mouths; we agree with your word Lord and may it come to pass quickly.

-

Acts 3:19 "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, 20 "and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, 21 "whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. 22 "For Moses truly said to the fathers, 'The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you. 23 'And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.'

-

It is imperative that we hear the voice of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the one with words for eternal life. We must hear the voice of this prophet in order to truly live.

-

Hebrews 12:24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. 25 See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, 26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, "Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven." 27 Now this, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.

-

We have come to this place where Jesus is the Mediator of the new covenant and His blood is speaking! What does it mean His blood speaks of better things than Abel’s? Abel was the first murdered man in the Bible. His blood spoke to God exposing sin and crying out for justice. The blood of Jesus speaks of redemption and the forgiveness of sin. We must hear this voice so we can live! What a promise Jesus’ voice speaking again with such clarity that only what is in the kingdom will remain. God, let your voice speak and let your kingdom come!

-

Mark 9:2 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. 3 His clothes became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them. 4 And Elijah appeared to them with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus. 5 Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, "Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah"; 6 because he did not know what to say, for they were greatly afraid. 7 And a cloud came and overshadowed them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!"

-

Jesus appears with Elijah and Moses, and Peter, being astonished, said "let us build three tabernacles one for you one for Elijah and one for Moses!" The Father spoke from heaven and made it so clear! Church, it is time we hear the voice of the Son and live. If we will hear Jesus' voice we will live. Let us not go back and try and build a monument to Elijah and Moses they are the ones who pointed to Jesus! May we listen to the voice of God Himself “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!”

-

Hebrews 1:1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; 3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

-

Jesus speaks to us today. His blood speaks awesome things; and He has sent His Spirit to speak and lead and guide us into all truth.

-

Acts 2:16 "But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: 17 'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. 18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.

-

God has spoken that He will pour out His Spirit on all flesh. Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed.? Hear His voice and receive.

-

Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

-

If the voice is truly from God it points us to Jesus and it will bring life to our situation! Hear His voice and live.

God Has Not Forgotten; God Will Remember

God has not forgotten you! Even if you feel like you are somehow put on the shelf, God remembers!

God Has Not Forgotten; God Will Remember

Sermon Notes 2010-9-19

-

Isaiah 49:14 But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten me." 15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. 16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.

-

What happens when the righteous say God has forgotten? God brings reaffirmation! The world is wicked and as the sin wax worse God is still in control. Will a mother forget the son of her womb; maybe on a outside chance. However God has not forgotten and will not forget; you are inscribed in the palms of His hands!

-

Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

-

The justice of God will prevail. God will not forget your work and labor of love. God has seen work, your tears, and prayers and calls you to not give up. All your diligence toward His name are not forgotten. Never give up! You can walk with a full assurance to the end! Even if you have blown it in some area, turn your eyes upon Jesus! Reckon yourself dead to sin and alive unto God! His mercies are new every morning!

-

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." 6 So we may boldly say: "The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"

-

We can live by the words that proceed from the mouth of God. God Himself is being quoted here in Hebrews 13:5. “I will never leave you nor forsake you”! What a promise! I don’t care the depth of the darkness in your life God will not leave you. You may boldly proclaim “The Lord is my helper and I will not fear what God can do to me”. God Has not forgotten. Men may well forget; however God will consider the thoughts and intents of your heart! His word of hope is “come unto me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest”. God will help you and He has not forgotten you, your circumstances, or the godly longing of your soul.

Judges 16:28 Then Samson called to the LORD, saying, "O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray! Strengthen me, I pray, just this once, O God, that I may with one blow take vengeance on the Philistines for my two eyes!" 29 And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars which supported the temple, and he braced himself against them, one on his right and the other on his left. 30 Then Samson said, "Let me die with the Philistines!" And he pushed with all his might, and the temple fell on the lords and all the people who were in it. So the dead that he killed at his death were more than he had killed in his life.

-

Here the judge of Israel who had failed miserably because he was ruled by his own lust instead of being lead by God, called out to God. Remember me one more time God! God granted Samson his prayer and God remembered him and all Israel and brought a deliverance from their enemy. Whosoever will call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Luke 23:39 Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, "If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us." 40 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, "Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? 41 "And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong." 42 Then he said to Jesus, "Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom." 43 And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise ."

-

Here one of the sinners hanging on the cross called out to Jesus 'remember me when you come into your kingdom'. What a God, rather a servant of God gone wayward or a sinner for a lifetime, God will hear the cry 'remember me!' God will not forget! God will not forget your labor of love, your tears that you have cried, or your prayers you have lifted before His throne over the years. You have not been forgotten!

-

Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

-

Never give up there is great reward continue with due diligence; take heart God will reward those who seek Him will all their heart!

Revelation 8:3 Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel's hand.

The good news, all your prayers are on the alter of the throne room mixed with the incense from the alter. Begin to know God has heard your prayer and seen your tears. They have not been wasted in any way! Keep praying for your sons and daughters God will not forget your labor of love lifted up before the throne room of God.

-

2 Kings 20:5 "Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, 'Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD.

-

What is it you are praying for? God’s eye is on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayers. God will remember your prayers they still are upon the throne room alter!

-

Psalms 56:8 You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book?

-

What is it you have shed a tear for? What is the wound of your soul that caused those tears? Can you imagine God bottling up the tears and writing them in His book! There are no wasted tears in the throne room of God.

-

Psalm 139:13 For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. 14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them. 17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.

-

I know I often bring this passage up in many sermon; however does your soul know well how you are made. Does your soul know well the thoughts God thinks of you? How great is the sum of the thoughts God thinks of you. God know and remembers! God cares for you deeply!

-

1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil."

-

Oh that the church would awaken to the power of prayer. Call a prayer meeting a handful might show up; call an event including food and one is sure to draw a crowd. Oh that we would come to know the heart of God; is God listening for prayers the saints simply are not praying. Are we making no deposit in heaven with our prayers? If the prayers are stored up on the alter may the saints arise and lift prayers up as never before! God will remember our prayers with open ears! Is the greatest revival to come waiting on the prayers of the saints?

-

God has given me such a burden for the senior saints of God who wonder about their usefulness asking why is God still keeping me around. I want to speak this final word in this sermon that God will not forget.

-

I am praying that God will’s will be accomplished in the saints! I pray that the old men will dream dreams just as the prophet said they would.

-

God’s economy is upside down from the worlds! The world tells the young people to dream the dreams. In this economy of divine influence the promise is for the old men to see dreams! Oh that the church would esteem the old saints of God. God has caused them to dream dreams! If a vision is started with the dream perhaps God has set in order the kingdom of God ! Let the old men dream and may the young men catch the vision of the dream and the children prophesy; God will use all to bring His will to pass!

-

God has not forgotten the senior saints. I dare say there is more power in the senior saints then they see in their self! What if the church begins to pray for the senior saints as never before! God let your word come to pass and give the senior saints the dreams your word has declared they would have. God give the senior saints the dreams give the young saints the vision and let our sons and daughter prophesy just as your word declares. Pour out your Spirit upon all flesh afresh and anew! God has not forgotten; God will remember our prayers and bring them to pass.
