We receive all that we have from God by grace. It is from divine influence to divine influence. Grace changes everything; victory in Jesus!
Grace Changes Everything
John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. … 16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
The Word robed Himself in flesh and dwelt among us! We can behold Jesus; we can behold His glory. If the church would truly turn their eyes upon Jesus it would change everything. Jesus came full of grace and truth! Grace begins with a new creation and brings transformation to the whole of man. God’s desire for His children is for them to walk in wholeness.
John 10:10 "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Jesus Christ came full of grace and truth; His coming was to bring abundant life to those who would put their faith and reliance upon Him. Grace is the exclusive vehicle to live in abundant life, and there is no other vehicle. It is an easy measuring stick. If it is stealing, killing and destroying it is the thief; if it brings abundant life it is from Jesus. Those who hold on to the promise of abundant life but never come to an understanding of the grace of God, walk in vicious cycles that wears them out. At best those without an understanding of grace have moments of victory; at the worst there is a never ending cycle of highs and lows and spiritual frustration. Grace is the teacher we need to lead us to walk in victory all of the time!
Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
If grace is the divine influence upon the heart of the believer, and it is, you the believer are teachable. The grace of God teaches us! The divine influence of God means you are a people who belong to Jesus Christ. You are a special people with a divine purpose.
Do you see the specifics of what grace teaches? The divine influence of God teaches us to discern between the precious and the vile. It teaches us to deny ungodliness and worldly lust and to love righteousness and holiness. An evidence you are in grace is you have an expectancy, a longing, and anticipation of the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. When you are walking in divine influence expectation rises and your attention is turned to Jesus Christ.
We are not like any other people! We are the redeemed who belong to God. Jesus bought you at the highest price and with the greatest commodity; His own precious blood! Receiving the truths of grace changes everything. When the good news of the grace message is taught the expectations of the believer can be raised to the desires that God has for them. Do you see yourself as chosen, special, and belonging to God? All it takes is the blood of Jesus being applied to your life and you qualify fully for the abundant life Jesus promised.
Colossians 1:12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.
Grace qualifies us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. Coming to grace and partaking of the inheritance of grace are two different things. Many saints have never become partakers in the abundant life found in Jesus Christ. Do you see yourself as qualified to partake of every blessing found in Christ Jesus? Grace changes everything. It is the grace of God that qualifies you!
Colossians 1:21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight;
Grace teaches us how great the sacrifice of Jesus is! Jesus reconciled you through the body of His flesh on the cross. Great is the sacrifice that presents us to God holy, blameless and above reproach. Grace changes everything. Do we dare believe we will be presented to God the Father as holy, and blameless, and above reproach IN HIS SIGHT. Put God’s mercy in full view and you will know you are a new creation. It is one thing to be above reproach in man’s sight; it is quite another thing to be above reproach in the sight of God. The strength of the sacrifice of Jesus changes everything.
Romans 5:18 Therefore, as through one man's offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. 19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous.
The obedience of Jesus Christ is the only source of our righteousness. We have zero righteousness outside of Jesus Christ. Do you believe in the strength of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ? Do you believe in the resurrection power of Jesus Christ? Oh how grace changes everything!
Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
Who will believe the report? Those with a revelation of the grace, found in Jesus Christ, will be the ones who are the recipients and partakers of the report found in Jesus Christ alone. Better covenant, better sacrifice, better mediator, better promises.
Acts 20:32 "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
The word of His grace will build the believer up and make him a partaker of the inheritance. Grace changes everything. Grace brings the supernatural into manifestation allowing the believer to be a participator in the heavenly promises.
Acts 3:18 "But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. 19 "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, 20 "and that He may send Jesus Christ,
What you think about Jesus Christ determines your destiny here and now, and also in eternity. It is the desire of God for time of refreshing to come. This refreshing is available via the suffering of Jesus on the cross. Will you believe the report? Sin has been blotted out so you can live in times of refreshing?
1 Peter 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.
Jesus bore sin that we may bear healing, because grace changes everything.
Psalms 107:20 He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions.
What is bringing destruction and chaos to your life? God sent His word… grace changes everything
2 Peter 1:3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
God has given you His divine power to make you partakers of the divine nature! Abundant life is experiencing the great and precious promises of God. Grace changes everything! Do you dare believe the report of the Lord. Abundant life is not elusive, it is living in the victory Christ provided. God’s purpose is victory; God never intended for you to live in defeat. We only walk through the valley of the shadow of death; God’s intent is for you to partake of His mercy and grace until you are feasting from the table of His goodness.
Jude 1:24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, 25 To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.
Grace cause you to surrender to the keeping power of God. Our Savior is able to keep us from stumbling and present us faultless. Hallelujah what a Savior! Grace changes everything. Jesus has dominion rest in it.
1 Corinthians 1:4 I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus, 5 that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, 6 even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, 7 so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, 8 who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Your faith in Jesus Christ will cause you to count God as faithful. Jesus will confirm you to the end! What a difference grace makes! Grace is all about walking in fellowship with Jesus!
2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
Counting God is faithful can not be understated. Discouragement is derived from doubting the faithfulness of God. God will establish you and guard you from the evil one. Oh, that the church would begin to put these precious promises in their mouth!
Ezekiel 34:25 "I will make a covenant of peace with them, and cause wild beasts to cease from the land; and they will dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods. 26 "I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing. 27 "Then the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase. They shall be safe in their land; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke and delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them.
Dare you believe that God wants to shower you with blessing! Dare you believe the blessing are yours for the taking? Dare you believe Jesus Christ has brought you into this covenant of peace that brings only good gifts. Dare you believe that God’s blessing make rich and He add no sorrow to it? Grace changes everything!
