Look what the Lamb has done; it is a perfect once and for all sacrifice that brings our salvation and loads us with God's benefits!
Look What The Lamb Has Done
John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! … 32 And John bore witness, saying, "I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him. 33 "I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, 'Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.' 34 "And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God." 35 Again, the next day, John stood with two of his disciples. 36 And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, "Behold the Lamb of God!"
Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! This lamb is indeed the Son of God who baptizes with the Holy Spirit! Take a look at the precious lamb of God! Yes, take time to behold and consider the lamb of God. Behold the glorious work He performed upon the cross of Calvary ! Behold Jesus the baptizer of the Holy Spirit!
Isaiah 59:16 He saw that there was no man, And wondered that there was no intercessor; Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; And His own righteousness, it sustained Him. 17 For He put on righteousness as a breastplate, And a helmet of salvation on His head;
The Lamb of God fulfilled the word. The Father brought salvation to man with His own righteousness! This way of salvation is the provision found exclusively in the Lamb!
1 Peter 1:18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you 21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
The greatest and highest commodity in heaven is the blood of Jesus! The Father spent the most precious by sending Jesus the Lamb of God without spot! The Father has manifested Jesus so your faith and hope are in God! Yes, behold the Lamb
1 John 3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 3:9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
Jesus the Lamb came and destroyed the works of the devil. He saves by giving birth to our spirit with the very seed of God! Thank God for the perfected work in our spirit!
Hebrews 7:22 by so much more Jesus has become a surety of a better covenant. 23 Also there were many priests, because they were prevented by death from continuing. 24 But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. 25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. 26 For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;
Jesus the Lamb of God has become a surety of a better covenant! He has an unchangeable priesthood. He is able to save to the uttermost; He lives to make intercession for us! Our High Priest looks good on us! Behold the Lamb. Our High Priest is fitting for us but separate from sinners. The Lamb does such an awesome job of sins cure; the Father see Him as looking good on us!
Hebrews 7:27 who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people's, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.
Jesus offered up the sacrifice of Himself for our sins; it is an once for all sacrifice!
Colossians 1:19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. 21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight;
Behold the Lamb and the work that He has done! Jesus made peace through the blood of His cross! He reconciled in the body of His flesh through death. To present you holy blameless, and above reproach in His sight; behold the Lamb!
Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
Nothing stands between the believer and God! EVERYTHING that was against us Jesus the Lamb of God wiped it out; Jesus took it out of the way, nailing it to the cross. Behold the Lamb.
Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.
The Lamb of God, with His own blood, brought us near to God. Nothing stands between God and the believer; Jesus put to death the enmity, there is no hostility left between us.
Hebrews 1:2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; 3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
When Jesus by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high!
Hebrews 2:14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15 and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham. 17 Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. 18 For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
Behold the Lamb who destroyed the devil and his work! The Lamb sets free from the fear of death! He is our merciful and faithful High Priest; He is ready to come to our aid!
Hebrews 9:23 Therefore it was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; 25 not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another; 26 He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. 27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
Hebrews 10:10 By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
Behold the Lamb of God, whose once and for all sacrifice, has sanctified us and perfected forever those who are being sanctified! BEHOLD THE LAMB!
