Last week we talked about the Father's heart for His children. This week His heart is for you to live free!
John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. …
Faith in Jesus brings the new birth! This is the will of the Father for you! God’s heart is for you!
1 John 5:1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God,…
The Word became flesh! What you think of Jesus determines your destiny; when the object of your faith turns to Jesus Christ you are born of God! We beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father! Jesus came full of grace and truth. Grace is the divine influence that brings us to God; truth is the medium by which we learn to partake fully in the divine influence given!
John 1:16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
Grace and truth comes exclusively from Jesus Christ and it is the exclusive way we can receive from God, and there is no other way! Jesus is in the bosom of the Father. From that position of intimacy with God Jesus declares the Father to us! The Father’s heartbeat is for you to know Him!
John 17:1 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: "Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2 "as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. 3 "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
John 17 is the record of Jesus praying to His Father! Jesus prayer reveals the will of the Father! “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true And , Jesus Christ whom You sent! D o you understand the desire of God is for you; He wants your desire to be for Him!
Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
When grace and truth come together you have a believer participating in the divine inheritance. Jesus gave Himself for us that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special People, zealous for good works! The Father heart has made Jesus your blessed hope! Allow His divine influence to teach you!
1 Peter 1:18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
The highest commodity in heaven purchased your redemption! The Father desired you and He willing spent His best to get you! The Father’s heart beat is your freedom!
1 Peter 1:23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, 24 because "All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away, 25 But the word of the LOR D endures forever." Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.
Faith in Jesus bring supernatural transaction! Born of the incorruptible word of God which lives and abides forever! Jesus saves to the uttermost!
John 8:31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
Jesus has made the sons of the kingdom free from sin! A son indeed abides forever! It is the truth you know about Jesus the Messiah that brings freedom!
Acts 20:32 "So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
When the word of His grace is implanted it will build you up and make you a partaker of the divine inheritance of the saints.
James 1:18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. 19 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; 20 for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. 21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
By the will of the Father we have been brought forth. It a work done Spirit to spirit. However to walk in the fullness of it, we must receive the implanted word of God which is able to save our souls! When our soul comes in line with what God has done in our spirit we are abiding in the heartbeat of God!
2 Timothy 2:24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, 26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
There are believer’s who have sin sick souls. A healing line will do them no good! The believer must submit their soul to the word of truth; only then will that believer be able to escape the snare of the fowler. It is the heartbeat of the Father to see you experience your freedom! When you soul and spirit are not in agreement the enemy of your soul has room to ensnare you with his lies.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Reconciliation has taken place God was in Christ not imputing trespasses! We are the blessed men to whom the Lord shall not impute sin. The Father made Jesus who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him! The Father’s heart is your freedom from sin and every vestige of bondage that it brings.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. 14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Only the word of God has the power to separate between soul and spirit! Look to our High Priest and holdfast our confession of Him. The Father invites you into His throne room in your hour of need and weakness; you will find all the mercy and grace you need!
Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
