The Glory Of The Risen Son

God brought us salvation with His own right arm. God desires to put His Word in our mouths. It is His will to make us partakers of the benefits of the covenant of grace.

The Glory Of The Risen Son

-

Isaiah 59:1 Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. 2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.

-

God is a holy God! His hand is not short and is ear is not heavy; He can save and He can heal. The issue is and was the sin and iniquities of man have separated us from God.

-

Isaiah 59:14 Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands afar off; For truth is fallen in the street, And equity cannot enter. 15 So truth fails, And he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Then the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him That there was no justice. 16 He saw that there was no man, And wondered that there was no intercessor; Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; And His own righteousness, it sustained Him. 17 For He put on righteousness as a breastplate, And a helmet of salvation on His head; He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, And was clad with zeal as a cloak.

-

Israel was walking in complete and total disobedience; God was disheartened with His people who had forsaken the covenant time and again. Justice was turned back; righteousness was far away. It was so bad, that those who tried to walk in truth were prey for the wicked. There was no man to stand in the gap; there was no intercessor for the children of Israel. Thank God this was and is not the end of the story. There is a “therefore” to be preached!

-

Praise the Lord, the good news! God brought salvation with His own arm. His own righteousness sustained Him. The prophet Isaiah was speaking by the Holy Spirit of the coming of God’s grace. Where salvation was wrought by His own righteous arm.

-

Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear The name of the LORD from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him. 20 "The Redeemer will come to Zion , And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob," Says the LORD.

-

The Redeemer will come to Zion; the Redeemer will come to Zion! When is this time that when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him? When the Redeemer comes to Zion. Do we look for the time the Redeemer will come to Zion? Yes, let us look and know! When we know the time the Redeemer comes to Zion we will know the timing of our victory. The standard of God will be raised by His own right arm even when satan has come in like a flood. When will the Redeemer come to Zion?

-

Isaiah 59:21 "As for Me," says the LORD, "this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants' descendants," says the LORD, "from this time and forevermore." 60:1 Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.

-

The prophet Isaiah writes that the Redeemer will come at a time of covenant, the Redeemer will come at a timing of God’s Spirit being poured out. At that time, it will be time to arise and shine for our light has come for the gory of the Lord is risen upon us. God’s will is so clear, by covenant He wants to put His word in our mouth, our children’s mouth and our children’s descendants' mouth.

-

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, "This was He of whom I said, 'He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.'" 16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

-

The prophet Isaiah was writing and pointing to the coming of Jesus Christ! The prophet Malachi also write of His coming.

-

Malachi 4:2 But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves.

-

Jesus is the Son of Righteousness; the way to experience the glory of God is only through Jesus Christ. The greater the revelation of Jesus the greater the glory that has risen upon us.

-

Hebrews 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

-

Here is the fulfillment of the words of the prophet Isaiah.

-

Isaiah 20 "The Redeemer will come to Zion , And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob," Says the LORD.

-

The Redeemer has come to Mount Zion . The covenant came with the advent of Jesus Christ. We have been transferred into the kingdom of God . You are a part of the general assembly; you are the church of the firstborn. Here in this covenant we have an innumerable company of angels; the angels of the Lord encamp around about those who fear Him. This Mount Zion is the place where the spirits of just men have been made perfect; it is where Jesus is the Mediator of the new covenant! This is where the blood of Jesus speaks forgiveness of sin and so much more. You have come to mount Zion ; what great benefits are afforded in this new covenant where God puts His word in our mouth.

-

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,

-

With God's own arm He brought salvation!

-

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

-

Colossians 1:12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

-

Yes God with His own arm of righteousness has provided righteousness for us, just as the prophet Isaiah had declared in Isaiah 59. This is the covenant of the greater glory.

-

2 Corinthians 3:7 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, 8 how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? 9 For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory. 10 For even what was made glorious had no glory in this respect, because of the glory that excels. 11 For if what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious.

-

God calls us to be partakers of the greater glory! Jesus has made available the greater glory. Arise and shine for the light has come and the glory of the lord is risen upon you, just like the prophet Isaiah foretold.

-

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

-

Behold the glory; behold the Lamb of God. The greater the revelation of Jesus Christ the greater the glory.

-

Ephesians 5:14 Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light." 15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

-

Awake you who sleep and Christ will shine upon you! Paul is directing his instructions to the believer! God calls His children to walk filled with the Spirit. Oh He wants to pour His Spirit out upon you!

-

God has an order of things and He calls us to that order! If we want to walk in the fullness of His glory we must come by divine order. On the day of Pentecost Peter preach the salvation message declaring Jesus Christ. The King James Version declared the men were pricked in there heart. Then Peter gave God’s divine order.

-

Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?" 38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 "For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."

-

Here the divine order was established. Once you get a revelation of Jesus Christ repentance, water baptism, and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit is the divine order. Do we want to walk in the greater glory we must receive the words of the Lord.

-

Acts 2:33 "Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.

-

Jesus is the Lamb of God that take away the sin of the world; Jesus is the baptizer of the Holy Spirit! God is calling all of His children to walk in the greater glory. If you want to experience the glory that has been revealed in Jesus, be a partaker of His covenant you have been birthed in. The standard has been raised against the enemy of our soul. Jesus Himself is the banner over every believer.
